Regional Forums
Please join us! We need parents, youth and caregivers
The Pennsylvania Health Law Project, PA Academy of Pediatrics, PA Department of Health and the PEAL Center are working together on a Statewide Implementation Grant. The purpose of the grant is to improve services for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN).
PYP Forums and Family Gatherings
The Department of Health's Family Health Nursing Services Consultants and the Pennsylvania Health Law Project will host regional forums across the state. These forums will gather input from families of children and youth, young adults with special health care needs, community services providers, health care providers and other stakeholders. Click here for more information on Family Gatherings and PYP Forums.
How You Can Help
We need your voice. Families of Children and Youth with special health care needs know what works and what doesn't work. You can share your ideas on how to improve the systems and services by:
- Attending regional forums. Be part of roundtable discussions with community service, health care providers, families and other stakeholders. Give your ideas for improvement.
- Providing input in person at local or regional work groups. Recommendations from these groups will be sent to the regional forums.
- Providing input through telephone, email or regular mail contact at local levels and regional forums.
- Bringing information about how services can be improved.
